Our story
Glenhill Merchants opened its doors in Belfast in 1984, founded by the Farnan family with a straightforward ambition: to offer homeowners and trade professionals a better experience when it came to sourcing products for their homes and projects.
Over forty years later, that ambition hasn't changed. What has changed is everything around it. The showroom has grown, the product range has expanded, and the way customers research and plan their projects has shifted entirely. But the business is still family-run, still based in Belfast, and still guided by the same values that shaped it from the beginning.
We've seen trends come and go — bathroom styles, fireplace fashions, tile formats that dominated a decade and then disappeared. What's stayed constant is the importance of seeing products in person, getting honest advice from people who know what they're talking about, and having a team you can trust to help you make the right call.
